QR Codes are seen all over the nation whether it is in stores, restaurants, or in the digital world. But they can also be easily used in the classroom! They provide a great way to engage your students. They establish a culture for learning (Danielson's 2b) and demonstrate a knowledge of our teacher resources (Danielson's 1d). We can be creative in a whole new way and can link videos, websites, images, and so much more directly to our students' content! I hope to use this idea in my classroom for read-alongs with books and as a way to provide a safe outlet for my students to be active on the internet. Check out this Canva poster I created using QR codes to aid students in their learning about Thanksgiving history!
